The Past Makes It Hard To Trust

Doubt hits me with such speed
and invades my mind and thoughts,
while taking all my sanity away
and instead replace it with madness.
The feeling of jealousy burns my body,
I can feel rage boiling in me.

It shouldn’t be like this,
not even close to this craziness.
Trust should fight all my doubts,
but the past makes it hard for me.
I see the admiration in your eyes,
the indifference towards other girls,
but still ,jealousy eats me up inside.
